Seven Challenging Preset Programs

P1: Time – Using the incline adjustment buttons, choose the duration of your treadmill workout (default time is 20 minutes). Speed and incline can be adjusted during the entire workout. The speed will start from 2.0 MPH and the incline will start from level 0. Distance and calories will count up from 0 while time counts down from the target.

P2: Distance – Using the incline adjustment buttons, choose the total distance the program will run. Speed and incline can be adjusted during the entire workout. The speed will start from 3.2 KPH/2.0 MPH and the incline will start from level 0. Time and calories will count up from 0 while distance counts down from the target.

P3: Calories – Using the incline adjustment buttons, indicate the number of calories you wish to burn during the treadmill workout. Speed and incline can be adjusted during the entire workout. The speed will start from 3.2KPH/2.0 MPH and the incline will start from level 0. Distance and time will count up from 0 while calories count down from the target.

P4: Heart Rate Control Program – This program consists of a Warm-up, Main Program and Cool Down. The treadmill determines a preset maximum target heart rate based upon your sex, height, weight and age, or you can adjust it to whatever maximum target workout rate you want. (This should be subject to the user's physical condition and determined after consulting with a physician.) Once you start, the program will guide you through a mild warm-up routine, through a powerful workout and through a final cool-down phase for a complete cardio program.

P5: 20-Minute Run – In this intense 20-minute training session, speed gradually increases from a minimum of 5 MPH/8.0KPH to a maximun of 8.1MPH/13KPH. It follows a preset schedule. Adjust the incline for an extra challenge.

P6: 40-Minute Jog – The reduced intensity and longer duration make the 40-minute jog an ideal fat-burning workout. The program begins at a speed of 2.5 MPH/4.0KPH and reaches 6.3MPH/10.0KPH as a maximum. The incline can be adjusted to increase the challenge.

P7: 60-Minute Walk – Here is another great cardio training program. Over the hour, your walking speed changes form 1.9MPH/3.0KPH to a brisk 5MPH/8KPH. Adjust the incline for extra added fitness benefits.
 

The Smooth® EVO 3i treadmill includes a free chest strap. The following accessories are available with your Smooth® 7.25e treadmill:

• Chest strap:
  This uncoded chest strap allows you to stay in your ideal heart rate range for optimal training results. This is the most precise way of measuring your heart rate.
• Silicone:
  This gel improves the quality of motion and minimizes the friction between the running belt and the deck. During average use (3-5 hrs per week) it should be applied every 6 month.
• Mat:
  We recommend the use of this durable mat with your fitness equipment. It absorbs noise and prevents damage to delicate flooring such as wood (195 cm x 108,5 cm).

I purchased a EVO3i treadmill approximately 6 months ago and love it. Great quality and it is solid as a rock. I am 6'3" and 265 lbs, I need a machine as solid as that. Very impressed with your product. Max

After researching on line and visiting some stores, I decided on and purchased the Smooth EVO3i. The choice was easy on paper comparing the features this unit offered and the warranty,  still I was a little apprehensive about buying such an expensive unit on line. I trusted my research and am glad I did. This unit is every bit as solid and stable as the one at my gym.

I went with this unit because of price and prior experience with Smooth Fitness equipment. We also have an elliptical, the CE7.4e. Running is no problem even at high speeds and I weigh 175 lbs. We did have a prproblem with a small squeak, and it took a little while for the service guy to come. Before the schedule service it however resolved itsself, and has not started squeaking again.
