Smooth® 5.15e treadmill

Hi, We purchased a Smooth 5.15e and are very very satisfied. I think in total we must have done about 100 miles on the treadmill. When do I need to oil/silicon any parts on the treadmill? Kind regards. P


I have just recently purchased my Smooth 5.15e treadmill and at £ 549 it was a great buy. I got a lot of treadmill for my money, its solid and relatively quiet. I realize its just a base modell and does not have many of the features more expensive treadmills do. I probably would have liked to have the motion control, but my budget did not allow for more and overall I am pretty satisfied with my purchase.

I received my Smooth 5.15e treadmill a few weeks ago. Was really looking forward to doing something for my fitness and figure before summer. And it is great to be able to get on my treadmill at home, no matter what the weather, no time consuming visit to the gym. It might not have all the features of a more expensive unit but it serves my purposes.

We recently purchased a Smooth 5.15e Treadmill from you which we duly received.  We are very pleased with our purchase so far.
 There was only one slight problem when the treadmill arrived - the bottle of silicone gel had burst.  Fortunately the spillage was contained within the separte tool/accessories box and didn't affect the treadmill itself.  Apart from a bit of a mess, no harm done.

Smooth® 5.25e treadmill

Dear Smooth fitness,
I thought I'd give you some feedback on my purchase of the 5.25e from you recently.
1. Order system. This worked extremely well. I didn't have any problems finding what I wanted and getting the information I needed. If I could suggest anything it would useful to have a video on line of the treadmills in action. It's useful to compare size/noise/build quality.
2. Customer service at ordering. This was excellent. You can see that I made several enquiries, all of which were answered quickly and efficiently. Improvements here could be the clarification of whether the forwarder will deliver inside the buidling, as curbside delivery is quoted on the website and printed on the invoice which could put many people off from buying. One of my pre requisites was a carrier who would deliver inside as I live alone.
3. Delivery time. Was extremely quick. The forwarders (DSL I think) were polite and efficient and gave me a delivery day in the next few days. They also offered to call me an hour before they arrived at my house so I could come from work to meet them.
4. Delivery day. The guys from the forwarders were very good indeed. They had no questions about bringing my treadmill into my flat and also putting it into the room of my choice.
5. Quality of equipment/instructions for assembly. Instructions were very easy to follow, and very well written/thought out. I had no problems at all, and finished the assembly in about 40 minutes. The 5.25e is a very good piece of equipment to run on, the base is smooth and cushioned in the right proportions. It surpassed my expectations.
One small dissapointment was the mat I bought to go under the treadmill. The quality of this does not seem to be that good for the price. The nature of the material means it's almost impossible to move a heavy treadmill (using the transport wheels) over its surface. The wheels sink into the soft mat and you go nowhere. If you push too hard you risk ripping the mat as the wheels dig into the surface. I ripped my mat trying to position my treadmill. A better material would be one which has a firmer coating on the top surface to enable rolling of equipment over the top before it's dropped down into position.
Overall, I'm very happy with the service and equipment.

Hi, our treadmill a Smooth 5.25e arrived. The delivery processed worked fine, no problems. Since neither one of us is very technically inclined building the machine was not as quick as we had hoped, but in the end it all worked out fine. We are very happy with the treadmill, it even looks great.

Smooth® 7.25e treadmill

I am very pleased with my Smooth 7.25e treadmill. It is very solid piece of equipment with noteably quiet operation. Could not have made a better choice for the money.

Smooth® 8.25e treadmill

 What a massive machine, its just about like the ones I am used to from the gym. Only now I can work out at home, no bag to pack and the car can stay in the garage. I am more than satisfied. The only problem I encountered was that a couple of plastic parts got broken during transport. I called the service phone and replacements arrived fairly quickly.

Smooth® 6.25e treadmill

Smooth lived up to their name. The local shipping agent made a mess of things, turning up without prior arrangements and then expected me to man handle 100 Kg off a flat bed at shoulder height. No thanks. Smooth resolved issues for me without hassle. As for the 6.25 treadmill, it’s worth paying the extra. Sure you can get cheaper machines around the £600-800 mark, but having tried various bits of kit, from the extreme budget end to the 4 K plus machines, and now having used the 6.25, the other’s save the top end machines, are no comparison. Only downside was that I was not able to try the 6.25 before purchase, but following loads of web research given the ratings they get as one of the best machines available I decided to take the gamble and fork out the extra cash. I think it was worth it. I found the 6.25 to perform and feel as good as any machine in a commercial gym or those costing around 4K. Smooth sales give better value, and if you can get your hands on the 6.25 below 1K, as I did, it’s a good buy.

Smooth® 7.4 Ellipticall

I finally received my cross trainer and have to say I was very impressed with the packaging and the way the parts were presented for installation, very professional. I tried the fitness level program and only managed a 15!!! I could not believe it because I think I am quite fit for my age of 62 so I waited three days and have now tried it again and guess what? another 15.I have run a marathon in 3.5hrs and several half marathons but your graph shows me to be crap, I would like to meet the man or woman that can reach the top level.
