Smooth 7.1 HR (not available in Europe, please see Smooth 8.25e) *** BEST BUY RATING ***
Treadmill Doctor Note: "A big, stable machine that is a good value. The most stable running platform under $1500."
Smooth Fitness® Note: Treadmill Doctor is considered one of the leading sources for treadmill ratings. They rate treadmills within price ranges, under $500, $500-$999, $1,000 -$1,500, etc. The Smooth 7.1 HR was rated "Best Buy" in the $1,000-$1,500 category, beating out all other competitive models in that price range. They referred to it's strengths as a "Very Stable Walking Area" and they ranked the warranty and the noise level as "Good".
Treadmill Doctor Comments: A very stable treadmill…the trade off is by making it stable by giving it a large base…it takes up more room. The backlit LCD is a nice touch as is the power folding feature. The large tactile keys are easier to use for those who want a solid feel from the keypads.
Smooth 9.15 HR (not available in Europe, please see Smooth 8.25e)

Treadmill Doctor Comments: A very stable treadmill…the trade off is by making it stable by giving it a large base…it takes up more room. The upgrade of motor, LED electronics, and programs would make us consider this one if we were looking at the 7.1HR. Since most other companies are raising prices, it makes this Smooth a better value.
